I did know the christening date, and the CRI also shows his birth in Q2 1841. I only have his marriage cert, not his birth cert, so I don't know the exact DOB. But that shows that Samuel was a dock labourer and had died by the time they were married on 12/9/1868. I will dig out some more info to send you, meanwhile to complete a little more of the current generations for you ... Janine's father is Adrian married to Llinos. He has younger brother Brian and sister Mary. In addition to Janine, they have a younger son, Brett, and an older daughter Alyson who died young. Janine and I have a daughter Zoe and another baby on the way. Brian and his wife Margaret have a son, Christopher. Mary and her husband John Pearce have 3 children: Helen married to Gary Payne with 3 children Rebecca, Joshua and Lauren; Julia married to Nic Suggit with 2 children Natasha and Alex; and a son, Stephen. That should give you a few more living Townleys. I don't have any photos right now, but Mary recently send me some which I havent yet had a chance to look through. If there are any Townleys in there, I will let you know. > Out of interest, how did you manage to trace back before 1837?
